For the second straight September, BiotechDueDiligence is recognizing Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month!
In 2017, we delivered 50 teddy bears and 50 Cuddle Bear books to patients at the Inova Children's Hospital in Fairfax, VA (see picture below!). Many of these were generously sponsored by the BDD / Bio-Twitter community. With your help, I am hoping to break that mark this year! The caring physicians and staff at Inova Children's hold an even more significant place in our family's life this year (but that is a separate blog post).
How does it work? It costs $28.62 to sponsor one bear / book set. Even better, the publisher also provides a 50% match as well as a 5% matching donation to the Scott Carter Foundation. You can provide an email address and desired number of sets in order to receive an invoice.
