- My complete notes are below:
- Spectrum was founded on shell of company that had phase 3 failure of Alzheimer's drug
- Mentioned Rituxan biosimilar "in development" (rarely mentioned)
- about 100 employees up from 5 in 2002
- Zevalin discovered in 2002 by same team that discovered rituximab
- Apaziquone: last patient's 2 year follow-up will be in December 2011
- Zevalin costs $62k for one dose in Japan...most expensive cancer drug in that country.
- Zevalin - "I think we should be doing $300m sales." Seeking just 5% lymphoma penetration
- 1/1/2011 and later - Zevalin has been reimbursed as drug (cost plus 5%). As of July 1 drug costs $38.5k. Previously, California said they would only reimburse $19k. But that changed as of July 1, followed by Arizona and other states (every state has own rules in US)
